американский абориген, природный американец. То есть - индеец. На цв. илл. (фото сделано в Канаде) он на переднем плане в своем районе (а на заднем - бомжиха возле урны обедает, так что места - не очень). Зато им, если сумеют доказать расовую чистоту, канадское правительство помесячно выплачивает содержание, как зверюшкам в зоопарке, просто за то, что они есть. Содержание это немедленно исчезает в карманах юных ненативных американцев - гондурасцев (на цв. илл. (На верхнем фото Native American (индеец) в своем бедном районе, где промышляют бедные гондурасцы. Одного из них только что повязали (get busted). Про жизнь американских индейцев и гондурасцев в Канаде см. в комментарии к слову Native American.) видно, как одного из них повязали прямо на улице). Система такая, если кому интересно. В Гондурасе ребят нанимают по объявлениям в газетах. Привозят в Ванкувер, Британская Колумбия, и тут же оформляют заявление на статус беженца. Рассматриваются такой вопрос в течение года. Ребята этот год проводят на улицах, особенно на одной, она называется East Hastings, и занимаются тем, ради чего их сюда привезли - продажей белого порошка. Через год прошение не удовлетворяется, ребят отправляют домой в Гондурас и привозят оттуда новых. Такой вот оборот гондурасцев в американской природе. Ох уж эта Британская Колумбия, которая, конечно, с одной стороны Британская, но с другой стороны все равно Колумбия!
